Advanced Ball Tracking
Behind a truly great golf simulation system lies a great piece of technology. At the core of the Innovative Golf Systems simulator resides a custom high speed ball tracking system. To accurately analyze any golf shot, it is imperative to track multiple points of actual ball flight.
Just as each golf club is designed with a unique set of characteristics, each golfer has a unique swing, and no two makes of golf balls are created equal. Given these three variables, the virtually unlimited number of combinations will not produce the same end result, even though the more conventional simulator tracking technologies would have you believe this to be the case.
The Innovative Golf Systems simulator employs multiple high speed cameras collecting ball flight data in excess of 700 frames of video per second. This technology allows the capture of ball flight from just beyond the point of impact all the way to the screen, gathering multiple points of real world data with which to recreate the remainder of the golf shot. This technique allows the system to capture ball velocity, trajectory, angle, and spin rate to the absolute highest degree of accuracy.
