5 - Q. Is the IGS ball tracking system just a launch monitor and does the ball have to be hit from a specific location in the simulator bay?
A. The IGS ball tracking system is not a launch monitor. It is a Stereoscopic camera based vision system that is both very accurate in measuring actual ball flight and very unique in that it is capable of tracking golf shots from anywhere on the hitting surfaces provided in the simulator bay. This proprietary technology is in fact one the many features that separate IGS from their competition.

A. The short game performance on the Premier Simulator is very good due to our ball tracking method used. The ball tracking system is able to take the actual chip or putt information and acurately communicate this to the game play software which in-turn provides the type of real-world shot result that you should expect throughout the entire golf simulator experience.
